Guide to dynamic terms

Dynamic terms are a time-saving feature in Halaxy that allows you to automatically personalise information to any template, note, or communication. This feature significantly reduces time spent entering relevant details for every record - just click publish or send and the terms convert to the relevant data.

Examples of dynamic terms include: patient's name, practitioner, practice location, appointment date and time, invoice number, and many more.

Dynamic terms can be inserted in:

Note

If the patient has a preferred name listed on their patient profile, the dynamic terms [Patient First Name] and [Patient Full Name] use the preferred name instead of the first name. To use their legal first name, you can use the dynamic terms [Patient Legal First Name] or [Patient Full Legal Name].
