Apply bulk update to multiple appointments

In your practice, there may be times when you need to edit details for multiple appointments at once, such as changing the appointment status or appointment location. You can apply a bulk update instead of editing each individual appointment separately.

To create a list of appointments to update, run an appointment report.

Apply bulk status update to multiple appointments

  1. Click Reports > Appointment.

  2. On the top right, click New Report.

  3. Set your parameters for the appointment list you want to generate. (For information about report types, see article: Guide to Appointment reports)

  4. Click Run.

  5. In the report results, tick the checkbox for each appointment you want to apply the bulk update.

  6. On the upper right, click Update, then click Appointment Status.

  7. In the pop-up, select the appointment status you want to apply to the selected appointments, then click Save.

You have successfully updated the appointment status for the selected appointments.

Change location for multiple appointments

  1. Click Reports > Appointment.

  2. On the top right, click New Report.

  3. Select a Practitioner and Location. (Important: You can apply a bulk update only to appointments with the same practitioner and appointment location.)

  4. Set your parameters for the appointment list you want to generate. (For information about report types, see article: Guide to Appointment reports)

  5. Click Run.

  6. In the report results, tick the checkbox for each appointment you want to apply the bulk update.

  7. On the upper right, click Update, then click Appointment Location.

  8. In the pop-up, select the appointment location you want to apply to the selected appointments, then click Save.

You have successfully updated the appointment location for the selected appointments.
