Halaxy's patient portal enables patients to track their health, manage appointments, view shared clinical records, and pay for invoices.
Note
You can only apply bulk updates to patients that you have access to. You cannot apply updates to patients whose names are anonymised.
Troubleshooting
If you are unable to send an invite, check that the recipient email address is not linked to a practitioner.

Open the patient profile.

Under the patient's name, click Invite to the portal.

Enter the email address of the patient and confirm it.

(Optional) You may add a custom message to include in the invitation email. To automatically personalise invitations, create and use a communication template.

Click Invite.
You have sent an invitation to the patient to join Halaxy. When they accept, you receive a notification on Halaxy.
The invitation contains instructions for the patient to accept the invite and set up their account.
Note
If you cannot find the invite link, you need to enable patient portal invitations in Settings > General > Patient Access.
You can invite multiple patients to the patient portal at the same time.

Click Reports > Patient.

On the top right, click New Report.

For Report Type, select Case Load.

(Optional) Set any other filters you want to create a list of patients.

Click Run.

In the report results, tick the checkbox for each patient you want to invite to the patient portal.

On the top right, click Actions, then select Invite to patient portal.

(Optional) In the pop-up, add a custom message that displays above the invitation in the email.

Click Invite.
You have sent a patient portal invitation to the selected patients.
Note
Selected patients who already have a patient portal will not receive an invitation.
