Invoice a practitioner

Other than treating patients, you might also provide services to fellow practitioners – such as room rental, for example. In this instance, you can still track this income stream for your practice by invoicing practitioners.

Prerequisites

Before creating the invoice, you first need to:

Invoice a practitioner

Once you have completed the prerequisites, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Finances > Invoices. On the top-right, click New Invoice.

  2. In the New Invoice pop-up:

    • Select invoice type: Select Invoice.

    • Select Invoice an organisation.

    • Practitioner and location: Select the practitioner and location to link to this invoice.

  3. Click Save.

  4. In the invoice, click Add Fee.

  5. In the Add Invoice Line pop-up:

    • Fee: Select the service you added as a fee.

    • Patient: Leave blank.

    • Add appointment: Select No.

  6. Click Save.

Your invoice is generated and billed to the practitioner. From here, you can print or email the invoice by clicking the Icon-Printer.svg printer icon and Icon-Send.svg paper plane icon in the top-right.
