Guide to Practice Dashboard reports

Who can do this?

The practice dashboard gives you a snapshot view of your practice's overall health and performance. With clear reporting across key metrics, you can quickly identify trends and track progress against your business goals within a selected time period.

With the practice dashboard, you can:

  • View your practice's overall performance in one place

  • Track progress against your business goals and KPIs

  • Filter reports by location or practitioner to focus on insights relevant to you

  • Identify trends and make data-driven decisions with confidence.

Overview

The practice dashboard contains the following information:

Click the tabs below to view the different parts of the practice dashboard.

  • Filters Panel

    The filters panel allows you to narrow the dashboard data to a specific location, specific practitioner and/or within a selected date range.

  • Practice Metrics

    At the top of the dashboard, you'll find a quick summary of data based on the filters you set.

    Notes

    Total Revenue

    The total amount received from invoice payments within the selected date range, including processing fees and deposits

    Deposits that are not assigned to a specific location or practitioner will be included in the group revenue, but not for location or practitioner revenue.

    Processing fees are included as revenue regardless of the method you wish to pay them - deducted from payments or charged to your credit card.

    Total Outstanding

    The total unpaid balance for invoices within the selected date range

    This includes all invoices including those without linked appointments.

    Average Session Value

    The total amount from appointment invoices divided by the number of appointments within the selected date range

    Includes both paid and unpaid invoices with appointments linked to them

    Applies only to appointments with attended, confirmed or booked status

    Average Rebooking Rate

    The percentage of appointments made by patients who already attended a prior appointment within the same date range

    Applies only to appointments with attended, confirmed or booked status

  • Charts

    • Appointment Attendance: This chart displays a visual breakdown of appointments by attendance status: Attended, Cancelled or Did Not Attend.

    • Patient Type: This chart displays a visual breakdown of patients who are new vs. existing.

      A new patient is a patient who attended their first ever appointment at your practice group within the selected date range, regardless if they attended another appointment later in the same time period.

  • Practitioner Performance

    This table provides a detailed breakdown of your practice's performance by practitioner, including key metrics such as revenue, attendance and patient retention.

Run a Practice Dashboard report

  1. Click Reports > Practice Dashboard.

  2. Configure the filters on the left panel:

    • Locations: Filter the dashboard data for only a single location or all locations.

    • Practitioners: Filter the dashboard data for only a single practitioner or all practitioners.

    • Date Range: Select the date range for your dashboard data.

  3. Click Generate.

Your practice dashboard now displays performance data based on the filters you set.
