Connect Theratrak

Theratrak is a digital health platform designed to help allied health professionals—such as occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and psychologists—create, monitor, and track custom home therapy programs for their patients.

Integrating your Halaxy account with Theratrak enables you to:

  • Instantly create patient records from Halaxy directly to your Theratrak account.

  • Automatically save therapy program notes back to Halaxy as a clinical note, keeping everything in one secure place.

This adds up to more time for care, and a seamless experience for both you and your patients.

Create an API key in Halaxy

To establish a connection between Halaxy and Theratrak, you'll need to have a Halaxy API subscription, which allows you to create API keys to integrate with external applications, such as Theratrak. See Guide to Halaxy API.

Once you are subscribed to Halaxy API, you can create an API key with the steps below.

  1. Click Settings > Integrations, then at the top, click the External tab.

  2. On the top right, click Create New Key.

  3. In the pop-up, configure the following:

    • Name: Enter a name for this key. (For example: Theratrak Integration)

    • Key Access: Enable the toggle switches for the resource, such as Patients, Practitioners, Appointments, and Clinical Notes.

  4. Click Save, and your API keys will be created.

  5. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret for later use in Theratrak.

IMPORTANT: Your Client Secret will NOT be shown again. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret before you close the confirmation pop-up. You can enter these credentials in your external application or provide them to your trusted developer.

Apply API key to Theratrak

  1. Log in to Theratrak Clinic Portal and navigate to Clinic Settings.

  2. Next to Integration, click Add.

  3. In the pop-up, set the following:

    • Provider: Set the provider field to Halaxy.

    • Api key: Paste the Client ID and Client Secret separated with a colon ":" from Halaxy. (Example: clientid:clientsecret)

  4. Click Add.

You have successfully created an integration with Theratrak.
