Halaxy includes a growing set of AI‑powered features designed to support clinical documentation and record‑keeping. These features help eliminate the administrative effort involved in writing, reviewing and summarising clinical notes by using AI to transcribe sessions and generate summaries from clinical content and uploaded files. AI features in Halaxy are available within existing workflows, making them easy to use as part of everyday practice.

You can configure your AI settings to manage preferences, defaults, and transcription data options.

Click Settings > General.

At the bottom-right, you can find the AI Settings section. Below is the list of configurable settings for AI Scribe:

Data management: If you need to have your transcriptions automatically deleted, tick the Enabled radio button. Then, enter the number of days (between 1 and 90) after the transcription date for deletion.

Default AI template: Select a default AI template for each AI feature available in Halaxy.

AI Scribe preferences: If you have a preferred AI transcription tool, you can enable it here by ticking the checkboxes. To disable all AI features, untick all checkboxes.

To use Halaxy Telehealth or Halaxy AI Scribe, your browser must have access to your camera and/or microphone. Your browser will usually ask you whether you want to allow access when you start a session.
